On May 19, Soul Float Inc opened its doors for business. In just a few short weeks, we’ve had extremely warm reception from our community. It’s clear that residence of Calgary’s west side are keen to embrace floatation therapy as part of their health and wellness lifestyle.

Although Soul Float is a small business occupying under 1500 square feet of retail space in West Market Square, it still takes an enormous effort from many hard working and dedicated people to bring to life. We’d like to dedicate this post to those people and say a warm thank you from the Soul Float team.

Listed in Alphabetical order:

  • Advanced Interiors – Dale, Brad and Derek were an amazingly responsive and informative team. They kept my project on time and budget. They also went out of their way to shared much needed advice on a range of areas with the build out. I’d highly recommend these guys. Five stars for sure.
  • Agency Lux – I’ve known Robbie for years and his work never disappoints. He’s the creative talent behind our logo and much of our print material, including the window signage for which we’ve received positive reviews.
  • BMP Mechanical – Given that we’re a float therapy studio, the plumbing and HVAC requirements were complicated, but the team at BMP worked through the challenges and made it happen. Thanks to Tyler, Nigel, Roman, Shane, Pete and the rest of the crews that pulled this off.
  • Delcor Concrete – Marco and his team took the time to add rebar to the concrete trenches I need poured to ensure a good quality outcome. You don’t often see this attention to detail for such a small job.
  • Hardcore Concrete – Richard had my concrete trenches cut in a few short hours. What’s more, he left things as clean as could be expected for concrete work. Great guy and fast.
  • Nash Designs – Karla has an amazing eye for pulling a space together with clean and elegant design elements. Highly recommend working with Karla.
  • Olive Woodworking – Doron and Steve made all the fabulous millwork in the studio. Great work guys.
  • SCArchitecture – Evan did a great job architecting the space and was very responsive. A float studio is a unique project with some custom design elements for which Evan came up with great solutions. He’s also a pleasure to work with.
  • SCE Electric – The electrical work for our studio was challenging with a number of hurdles to overcome. A special thanks to Jonathan and Jimmy for their calm and encouraging approach. We give SCE a five-star rating and would highly recommend them.
  • Sonwell Signs – Colton was very informative and helped me make an excellent decision in terms of how to light our unique eye catching sign. He went out of his way to find a solution and he executed it perfectly. Highly recommend Sonwell.

Thanks again to everyone that worked so hard to make Soul Float happen. It’s deeply appreciated.
